Museums Tour



Timisoara is surely a city full of history, that pioneered a lot of new beginnings in Romania. Because Timisoara used to be the first town in Romania with a tram pulled by horses, we can see the evolution of these means of transport from beginning till today in the "Corneliu Miklosi" Public Transport Museum.

  • Banat Museum Timisoara : right now the museum is closed for restoration. We can easily visit temporary exhibitions held at the Bastion area

  • The Religious Art Collection of the Romanian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral
  • The Religious Art Collection of the Serbian Orthodox Vicarage
  • The Collection of Religious Art of the Roman Catholic Episcopacy
  • "Corneliu Miclosi " Public Transport Museum
  • The Communist Consumers Museum
  • and last but not at least Banat Village Museum.
